Sunderland winger Jordan Henderson is delighted with his selection for England's U21 Euros campaign.
England finished as runners-up in 2009 and Henderson is hoping to help the squad go one step further this time.
"It's a great tournament - a very important one - and everyone who is involved is delighted to be going," he told safc.com.
"Representing my country is always an honour and hopefully we can put in some good performances over there.
"I just love playing football so as long as I can keep playing games I'm happy.
"If I get the chance to play in Denmark it would be fantastic. I'll probably get a little bit time off afterwards, but then it's straight back into pre-season."
