Sunderland winger Jordan Henderson is up for a big U21 Euros with England.
He hopes to have a starring role in the European Championships, as Stuart Pearce takes his 23-man squad to Denmark later this week.
Following the victory over Norway, Henderson told safc.com: "It's definitely good to blow the cobwebs away, get the win and keep a clean sheet.
"Training's been brilliant all week so we're all just looking forward to next week now.
"Everybody wants to get into the starting eleven for the Championships so everyone was doing their best to do that."
Henderson who has scored two goals in seven appearances for the under-21s is hoping to add to that tally and relishing the opportunity to play a part in the squad.
"There's a real togetherness in the squad, we're all friends and we all get along well and you can see that on the pitch," he added.
