Sunderland winger Jordan Henderson had no complaints over their defeat to Manchester United.
Two goals from Dimitar Berbatov proved enough for United, who continued their record as the only unbeaten team in the Barclays Premier League this season.
"I think we were beaten by the better team," Henderson told safc.com. "We struggled to get a hold on the game although it was a bit better in the second half.
"Manchester United deserved the win so we've got to move on, learn from it and hopefully get back to winning ways against Blackpool.
"Switching to 4-5-1 seemed to work and we worked really hard in the second half. We kept the ball a little better, but it was disappointing overall."
