Sunderland winger Will Buckley is delighted with his loan move to Leeds United.

The 25-year-old has been training with United for the past week and is available for tomorrow's home clash against Birmingham.

He said: “There were a few Championship clubs that got mentioned.

“I don't think Sunderland were that keen on me going at first but they decided that was probably best for me and best for them, too.

“When Leeds came in, that was the club I wanted to go to.

“It's a massive club with a good manager. I want to get some games and help this big club get back to where it needs to be.

“I just want to get back to playing football now and I think this is a great opportunity for me at a good club to get back to where I need to be."
