Sunderland ace Kieran Richardson has found God.

The People reports Richardson gave his first testimonial to a packed congregation at the Good Word Ministries church near Durham, which he has attended with wife Natalie for more than 10 months.

The multi-millionaire, 27, changed his ways when he met the committed Christian in a nightclub. He said: "I would go out after a game, get drunk, go to nightclubs, meet women. Thanks to Natalie my life now has real meaning."
