Sunderland have won the race for Roy O'Donovan.
The Times says O'Donovan has joined the club from Cork City in a transfer that could eventually rise to £700,000. The striker is reported to have agreed a three-year contract and a weekly wage of about £5,000.
He visited Cork's Bishopstown training complex yesterday to say goodbye to his former teammates.
