Sunderland are ready to sell striker Anthony Stokes to Hibs.

The Sun says ex-Arsenal forward Stokes is set for a £1m move to Scottish side Hibernian - half the figure his fellow Irishman, Roy Keane, shelled out in 2007.

Hibs will use part of the £3m Burnley paid for Scotland striker Steven Fletcher to snap up Stokes after Sunderland refused their bid to take the 20-year-old on a season-long loan.
