Arsenal are closing on a deal for Sunderland whizkid Sam Greenwood.

Greenwood has forged a burgeoning reputation with the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool also tracking him.

But it seems as though he is destined to swap the north east for north London ahead of next season.

Greenwood posted a picture on his Instagram story yesterday from outside Arsenal's training ground, reports the Daily Express.

Greenwood netted six times and laid on six assists in 15 appearances for Sunderland in the under-18 Premier League this season.
