Wolves boss Mick McCarthy admits he expects to lose midfielder Seyi Olofinjana this summer.

Olofinjana has been linked with West Brom and Sunderland and McCarthy told the club's website: "I'd love him to stay but he'll end up going. He's a Premier League player and if he gets the opportunity, he'll go.

"There will be a club for him. Everyone I've spoken to I've said 'take him' because if I was a Premier League manager I'd sign him - he's that good."

He added: "If he doesn't go, it won't break my mind to have him back. It wouldn't take long to pick up the pieces because he's a fabulous player."
