Sunderland are watching Genk striker Jelle Vossen.
The Sunderland Chronicle says sources on the Continent have credited the Black Cats and Premier League rivals Everton with an interest in the 23-year-old, whose 17 goals fired Genk to last season's Jupiler League title.
Vossen has continued that form this term, scoring seven in the first 11 games.
