Sunderland hope to strike a loan deal for Anderlecht defender Roland Juhasz.

The Sunday Sun says Martin O'Neill has made Juhasz his No 1 defensive target.

The Black Cats boss wants to bring the 76-times capped Hungary international centre-back to Wearside on loan with a view to a £2.5m permanent deal.

Belgian side Anderlecht have rebuffed interest from Celtic and Rangers in the past, but they are now preparing to let the 29-year-old leave.
