Sunderland are reportedly eyeing Burnley manager Sean Dyche.
The Black Cats saw Dick Advocaat quit his post at the Stadium of Light over the weekend and it is believed that they are looking at Dyche as his replacement.
The Express is among the publications suggesting that Sunderland chairman Ellis Short is reigniting his interest in Clarets boss Dyche who was approached by the Wearside club during the summer.
The 44-year-old heads a shortlist of candidates for the Sunderland job which also includes former Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson and ex-West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce.
