Sunderland to use Gyan cash to land Wolves striker Fletcher

Sunderland are set to step up interest for Wolves striker Steven Fletcher.

The Journal says Martin O'Neill's interest in the Wolves striker is no secret and now the club has banked the cash for Asamoah Gyan, who as expected signed a four-year deal with Al Ain in the UAE, he can launch a bid.

Fletcher, who has started pre-season with Wolves, will cost the Black Cats £10million to take him from the Midlands club - relegated from the Premier League last season - to Wearside.
