Sunderland have displayed Champions League form since Martin O'Neill's arrival.
Going into this weekend, only the Premier League's top two - Manchester United and Manchester City - had picked up more points than the Black Cats since O'Neill took over on Wearside in early December.
The Irishman inherited a Sunderland side with a paltry 11 points from 14 games to its name, but he has transformed the club's fortunes after amassing a further 26 points from his first 14 league games in charge.
Only Man United (34) and City (28) have seen a better return over the same period, while Arsenal equalled Sunderland's tally.
