Sunderland are chasing Valencia fullback Aly Cissokho.
The Evening Chronicle says Sunderland have completed the loan signing of right-back Ondrej Celustka from Trabzonspor - and remain firmly in the race to sign Valencia left-back Cissokho.
Sunderland will now redouble their efforts to bring in a left-sider, with Cissokho - who is also wanted by Liverpool - still very much in their thoughts.
