Sunderland are eyeing Tottenham striker Peter Crouch.
Black Cats manager Steve Bruce is planning multiple attacking signings this summer.
The Sunday Sun says Bruce could yet make a second attempt to sign Spurs striker Crouch, 18 months after the England target-man rejected a move to Wearside.
Bruce is still hoping to sign Sevilla's Alvaro Negredo to replace Darren Bent.
