Sunderland boss Roy Keane is set to try again for Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

Keane has been encouraged by comments from Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov this week that he won't block Gordon from leaving Tynecastle.

The Daily Mail says the Black Cats manager is ready to bid again, having had an £8 million offer rejected last month.

Keane is hoping to conclude the transfer before Italian giants Juventus visit the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
