Sunderland are keeping tabs on Dundee United pair Ryan Gauld and John Souttar.

Black Cats scouts have been tracking the U20 pair since the start of the Scottish season.

United have already turned down a bid from Sunderland for Souttar.

Gauld and Souttar as both are contracted to the club until January 2016 and would command considerable fees to prise them away.
