Sunderland are expected to make a new offer for West Ham striker Diafra Sakho this week.

The Mail on Sunday says West Ham will sell the 26-year-old but have been reluctant to let him and Enner Valencia leave without finding a replacement first.

Sunderland have had a £12m bid rejected owing to the proposed structure of payment but remain keen.

West Brom, Crystal Palace, Swansea and Newcastle are also in the frame and the Senegal international has interest from Germany and Italy too.
