Sunderland's search for a new manager just got even more serious after recent reports claimed two more candidates have withdrawn from the running.
Real Sociedad boss David Moyes has already reportedly turned down the role and according to the Daily Mail, Sam Allardycee and Sean Dyche are both unlikely to be making their way to the Stadium of Light anytime soon.
Former West Ham United manager Allardyce is not interested unless he can be given transfer guarantees while Burnley's Dyche has told the Wearsiders he does not want the job.
Both men were believed to be high on sporting director Lee Congerton's shortlist which also features ex-Leicester City gaffer Nigel Pearson, Manchester City academy chief Patrick Vieira and even former Napoli and Inter Milan boss Walter Mazzarri.
