Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Chris Kirkland says he's happy at the DW.

Kirkland has been the subject of reported interest from Steve Bruce and Sunderland in recent weeks, but he pays no attention to speculation.

"I've not heard anything - all I'm concentrating on is getting fit for the start of pre-season training and meeting my new team-mates," he told the Wigan Observer.

"I only live 20 minutes away from the training ground and I look forward to coming into work every single day - something I intend to carry on doing for many years."
