Sunderland striker Murphy only wants Ipswich stay

Sunderland striker Daryl Murphy is desperate to stay at Ipswich Town.

The on-loan Sunderland striker's fourth-minute clincher in the win over Barnsley took his tally to six goals in 11 games.

And Murphy, 27, said: "I want to stay but I've no idea what price they will put on my head."

It will take more than the tongue-lashing dished out by boss Roy Keane in midweek to deter him.

Murphy said: "The gaffer was right to have a go at us. We didn't perform at Watford and too many of us didn't turn up.

"But we responded today by picking up three points."
