Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan expects to sign permanently for Al Ain.

Gyan is in Ghana and told local media he expected to make an announcement on his future before the end of this month.

He said: "Al Ain have shown an interest in signing me permanently.

"I am also interested in staying. I like the place and my family are also in love with the place."
