Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher is delighted to be back in the Scotland squad.
Fletcher has revived his club career in recent months and is now the main man for the national team.
The 27-year-old said: "There was a time I thought I wouldn't get another cap.
"But it's good to be back. I'm glad to be playing again.
"Obviously you are sitting back watching Scotland on the TV and you want to be there.
"But you're thinking that things are never going to get sorted.
"We managed to sort it, fortunately, and I'm past that now, back playing and enjoying it."
