Sunderland striker Darren Bent is delighted with his goal scoring form.

Bent struck a brace in the 2-2 draw at Liverpool.

The striker scored 25 goals for Sunderland last season and says he remains full of confidence this term.

"My confidence never dipped," he revealed.

"I just tried to continue my form from last season and everyone said the second season as going to be the difficult one but I'm always trying to get in the right places and put them in when the chances come to me."
