Sunderland striker Nicklas Bendtner is fit for their FA Cup clash at Everton.
Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill, however will still be without suspended pair Stephane Sessegnon and Lee Cattermole at Goodison Park.
He said: "The news on Nicklas is encouraging.
"The knee itself got much better in the 24 hours immediately after the game, which looked good, and it meant he felt quietly confident about doing a little bit of training. We will wait and see if there is a reaction."
Bendtner added: "I'm relieved and would relish the chance to play against Everton. It's incredibly important for us because we want to win the game and the FA Cup."
