Sunderland spend a portion of Bent transfer money on Fuller

Stoke City have accepted a bid of £3m from Sunderland for striker Ricardo Fuller, reports BBC Radio Stoke.Sunderland have £18m burning a hole in their pocket as they look to replace striker Darren Bent, who moved to Aston Villa on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old Jamaica international has scored 48 goals in 177 appearances since joining the Potters from Southampton in August 2006.

He has been the Potters leading scorer in each of the last three seasons, has found the net three times in 23 games so far this term.
