Sunderland skipper Lee Cattermole has hailed the impact made by manager Martin O'Neill.

Cattermole played in yesterday's win over Manchester City.

He said: "We've got a spirit where we go into games believing we will win.

"We had some bad luck at the start of the season. I think we were playing the same as now but we weren't having that luck."
