Sunderland skipper Lee Cattermole insists they'll bounce back from their thrashing by West Bromwich Albion.
Cattermole believes the squad's character will show through in the the games to come.
"It's the first time we've been rolled over by a team. Nothing went our way on the day, we gave sloppy goals away and the players were really trying but just kept getting pulled all over the pitch.
"It's going to be a tough 48 hours but I think we'll come back and respond well. We've got a great set of lads in the dressing room and we'll bounce back.""It's been a tremendous last few months and we've got a lot to play for this season so we can't be too disheartened," he told safc.com.
