Southampton boss George Burley believes new Sunderland signing Kenwyne Jones could develop into a talent as big as Chelsea ace Didier Drogba.
Saints manager Burley believes: "He's got the potential of Didier Drogba and he will do well for Sunderland.
"He is big, strong, pacy and will trouble Premier League defenders."
Jones went on strike and refused to play in Saints' Championship game against Stoke after hearing of interest from Sunderland and Derby.
Burley said: "I'm disappointed with how things happened, but the lure of the Premier League was too strong."
