Sunderland have reportedly set up a move for Honduras striker Carlo Costly in the next transfer window.
Black Cats boss Steve Bruce is keen to add the 27-year old to his playing list in January and is hoping to beat his former club Wigan to his services.
Costly, who plays in Poland with Belchtow, spent last season on loan at Birmingham City and may join fellow Hondurans Wilson Palacios, Maynor Figueroa and Hendry Thomas in England's top flight if he can sort out terms and get a work permit leading into the next transfer window.
