Sunderland midfielder Alfred N’Diaye has joined Spanish side Real Betis on loan.

The 23-year old Senegalese spent the first half of the season on loan with Eskisehirspor in Turkey but has now headed to Seville to link up with the Verdiblancos.

“Alfred N'Diaye has joined Real Betis on loan for the rest of the season,” read a club statement.

N’Diaye joined the Black Cats from Bursaspor in January 2013 but has made just 16 appearances for the Wearside club.

Betis currently sit at the foot of La Liga table on 11 points, five behind second-bottom Rayo Vallecano, ahead of this weekend's home clash with ninth-placed Espanyol.
