Sunderland are ready to cash in on defender Matthew Kilgallon.

The Mirror says Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill will let centre half Kilgallon go for £1million as he makes way for a new face at the back.

Kilgallon was in the Black Cats side at the end of the season, but O'Neill has told him he can go for the right price - and will not price him out of a deal.
