Sunderland are lining up a £2 million deal for Heerenveen goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt.

The Evening Chronicle says Simon Mignolet yesterday passed a medical at Liverpool and completed an £11 million, five-year move to Anfield last night.

Keiren Westwood now seems set to be handed the chance to make the Black Cats’ No 1 shirt his own.
