Sunderland have stepped up their interest in Sparta Prague midfielder Juraj Kuchka.

The Daily Mail says Sunderland scouts watched him play for 83 minutes in their 1-1 Europa League draw with CSKA Moscow on Wednesday night.

The 23-year old has just 12 months left on his contract and could be snapped up for less than £3million.
