Sunderland midfielder David Vaughan has pulled out of the Wales squad for Friday's World Cup qualifier with Scotland in Glasgow.
The 30-year old has been made unavailable due to an unspecified injury but could return for Tuesday's meeting with Croatia in Swansea.
Vaughan played a major role in Wales' last two Group A fixtures - the 2-1 win over Scotland and 2-0 loss to Croatia - as Chris Coleman's men look to improve their standing of second bottom after four outings without the Black Cats man as well as Liverpool's Joe Allen and Leeds United's Steve Morison.
