Wigan Athletic are closing in on Sunderland's James McClean according to reports.
The 24-year old Irish winger is unwanted by Black Cats boss Paolo Di Canio and will be offloaded for £1.5million according to reports.
Latics boss Owen Coyle is a fan of McClean and is looking to add him to his Championship squad as soon as possible.
