James McClean took to Twitter to make public his delight at signing with Wigan Athletic.
The 24-year old Irish winger will depart Sunderland to join the Latics, with the deal likely to be made official on Thursday, but he wanted to express his joy and gratitude on the social networking site prior to it becoming certified news.
