Sunderland goalkeeper Marton Fulop is keen to remain in the first team after coming in as a replacement for regular number one Craig Gordon.

The Hungarian international has impressed since Gordon injured his ankle in November and although there is a healthy rivalry, Fulop is determined to grab the leading role.

"I want to keep going even if Craig is back, I want to make it hard for him. The competition is very good between us and we respect each other," Fulop said.
