Hartlepool United have signed Joel Dixon on loan from Sunderland.

The 20-year old goalkeeper has been signed on an emergency loan following the injury to Andy Rafferty in training this week.

Dixon, who has previously been on loan at Workington Reds and Boston United, played 19 times for the Black Cats' U19s last season.
