Sunderland goalkeeper Trevor Carson is set to join Hull City on loan according to reports.
Tigers boss Nick Barmby is hoping to bring in the 23-year old after signing Arsenal's Vito Mannone short-term as he deals with some injury issues in his keeping ranks.
Carson, who joined Sunderland in 2004, has had a number of loan deals with the likes of Chesterfield, Lincoln City, Brentford and Bury since arriving at the Stadium of Light as a teenager.
