Sunderland's Altidore, Roma's Bradley named in USA squad for Bosnia friendly
Juergen Klinsmann has named a 22-man USA squad to face Bosnia-Herzegovina in an international friendly this week.
The 19th-ranked US will take on the 13th-ranked Bosnians at the Asim Ferhatovic Hase Stadium in Sarajevo on Wednesday as they look ahead to crucial World Cup qualifiers in September and October.
Sunderland striker Jozy Altidore has been included in the hope he will continue his brilliant form of late which has yielded four goals in four games including in each of the past three WC hexagonal group qualifiers.
Joining Altidore in the roster is AS Roma midfielder Michael Bradley, Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard, Stoke City defender Geoff Cameron and Schalke midfielder Jermaine Jones, however, Seattle Sounders star recruit Clint Dempsey has not been named because of limited game time in the past few months.
Michael Orozco Fiscal was originally named in the 23-man squad but has since had to withdraw after injuring his hamstring playing for Mexican club Puebla on the weekend.
