Portugal teenager Ukra is in Sunderland's sights.

The News of the World says the attacking midfielder, full name Andre Monteiro, has been tracked by Newcastle after starring for the Portugal Under-21s against England last month.

Ukra is currently on-loan from Porto at Portuguese side S.C. Olhanense and Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has registered his interest.

Sunderland hope to get one over rivals Newcastle by launching a £2m bid, with the lure of top-flight football to tempt Ukra to the Stadium of Light.
