Sunderland are keen on Chivas USA defender Jonathan Bornstein. The Black Cats considered the 24 year-old USA international last summer and he has remained on the management's radar.
Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia is keen to take a closer look at Bornstein and hopes to have him on Wearside for trials in the closing weeks of this season.
