Sunderland rejected a big offer for striker Asamoah Gyan yesterday.

Sunderland fought off competition from Turkey to sign the Ghanaian striker, when Fenerbahce were the interested party. It is possible that Fenerbahce have revived their interest in the 25-year-old, although several other Turkish sides have also shown a willingness to spend money.
