Sunderland have rejected a new offer from Fulham for Phil Bardsley.

The Cottagers tabled a fresh offer for Bardsley yesterday, but was immediately turned down by Sunderland.

Bardsley is off contract in June, but both parties are keen to discuss new terms once the winter market shuts tonight.
