Craig Gardner will not be leaving Sunderland tonight according to the club.
The midfielder has been the subject of bids from West Bromwich Albion and QPR but will not be departing the Stadium of Light.
Gus Poyet insisted earlier today that Gardner wouldn't be leaving and it appears as though the 27-year old former Aston Villa and Birmingham City man will be staying put on Wearside.
