Sunderland are ready to take a new look at Velez Sarsfield wing-back Gino Peruzzi.
The Daily Mail says Sunderland are reviving a £2.5million deal for Peruzzi, the Argentine right-back from Velez Sarsfield, after he proved his fitness following knee ligament injury.
With questions surrounding his long term fitness last week, the deal Peruzzi appeared to have fallen through with Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio stating the club cannot afford to sign injured players.
