Sunderland ready to sell Waghorn

Sunderland are set to sell Martyn Waghorn outright.

The Daily Mail says Leicester City are in discussions with Sunderland over a £2million permanent move for Sunderland striker Waghorn.

Sunderland need to free up funds as they try to tie up the £8m transfer of Asamoah Gyan from Rennes and ponder mover for Tuncay of Stoke and Portsmouth's John Utaka.

Sunderland fans are already questioning manager Steve Bruce's decision to sell Kenwyne Jones to Stoke City and the Waghorn decision is sure to create more controversy.
