Several of former manager Paolo di Canio's signings at Sunderland are set to be sold.
The Daily Star says Jozy Altidore, who has scored just one league goal this season, will be sold along with Di Canio flops Charis Mavrias. Valentin Roberge and David Karlsson.
Gus Poyet will also look to recoup the £6m his predecessor paid Juventus for Italian international Emanuele Giaccherini, who has been a peripheral figure in recent weeks.
